Information We Collect

When You use FlowSnap, We collect only the minimum information needed to provide the Service:

• GitHub username and email address — collected via VS Code's built-in GitHub Authentication, used to identify Your account.
• GitHub account ID — used to link Your Pro subscription after payment.
• Snapshot metadata — file paths, cursor positions, open tab names, and Your brain-dump notes. See the section below for what this does not include.
• Usage data — basic, aggregated product analytics used only to improve the Service.

What We Do NOT Store

We only save the following metadata:

• File paths (e.g. src/auth.ts)
• Cursor positions (line and column number)
• Open tab order
• Your brain-dump note text
• Timestamp of the snapshot

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the FlowSnap Service.
• To link Your Pro subscription to Your account after payment.
• To send You important account or security-related emails.
• To analyse usage trends and improve the extension.

We do not sell Your personal information to third parties. We share data only with vetted service providers (for example payment processing, cloud infrastructure, and sign-in) strictly as needed to operate the Service.

Security

Snapshot metadata is protected in transit (HTTPS) and at rest using industry-standard practices. No method of storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but We take reasonable steps to protect Your data.

Subscription & Refund Policy

• No card details will be asked during the free plan period.
• The Pro plan is billed at ₹99 per month through our payment provider.
• All plans are non-refundable.
• Cancellation does not lead to a refund. It only ensures that you will not be charged a renewal fee in future.
• Your access remains active till the end of the current billing period even if you cancel membership midway.
• You can cancel Pro anytime from subscription controls in the FlowSnap extension in VS Code — no email required to cancel.

We may consider exceptions in the following situations:

• Duplicate charge: If you were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate amount in full.

To request an exception, email support@flowsnap.in with your payment receipt and a description of the issue. We review all exception requests within 3 business days.

Children's Privacy

FlowSnap does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If You believe Your child has provided Us with personal data, please contact Us at support@flowsnap.in and We will delete it promptly.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We will also notify You by email for significant changes.
